What the 10-year guarantee covers:
- Manufacturing defects – any component that arrives with a defect in materials or workmanship
- Structural integrity – the structural performance of the timber frame under normal use conditions
- Joinery quality – the precision and fit of mortise and tenon joints (HT model) and bolt connections (LT model)
Important notes:
- The guarantee covers the timber frame kit itself — not third-party roofing materials, finishes, or foundation work you supply separately
- Normal weathering, checking (small surface cracks as wood dries), and color change in untreated timber are natural characteristics of wood and are not covered under warranty
- Proper installation per NORWEH’s instructions and maintenance per recommended guidelines are expected for warranty validity
